Since the 1980s, the nation of Iran has long been engaged in an "undeclared' shooting war with the United States and the British directly through official Iranian military forces and through third-party Iranian-backed military forces throughout the Middle East. Israel and other Western nations have also been a part of this reign of terror.
THE MAIN AREAS OF CONFLICT with Iran center on:
THE PERSIAN GULF: Their military threats against international shipping including the shooting at and ceasing of foreign vessels in international waters.
NUCLEAR WEAPONS DEVELOPMENT: Iran's continued development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles technology programs.
INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM: Since the Islamic Revolution in the late 1970s, Iran is known to be the largest developer of terrorism against opponents, Israel, 'the West,' including the United States who they call 'the Great Satan.' For decades, Iran has funded, supported, organized, and trained a variety of covert action groups (assassinations, kidnappings, spying, cyber hacking), militia groups (armies), para-military groups, and terrorist groups mostly in the Middle East and Europe.
SILENCING OF OPPONENTS - WORLDWIDE: This seems to be a common issue with authoritarian (non-democratic) nations, and it is no less a major problem with Iran. Russia has been know harass, use violence against, kidnap, and assassinate opponents worldwide - regardless of their nationality or where they are located.
