These 'networks' and 'hotlines' are predominately located in Democrat Party held areas were the public generally supports 'open borders' and/or are located in 'sanctuary cities,' states, and counties where they receive local support, funding, volunteers and are not prosecuted or held up to scrutiny of law enforcement. Many openly admit an anti-Trump hatred motivated them to create these networks and hotlines after 2016, even though Democrat Party Leaders and Presidents in the past held similar positions on borders and immigration as Trump.
LAWFUL ACTIVITIES: Many of these groups provide illegal migrants: legal education and counseling, and also pathway to citizenship training. While this assistance is often skewed toward remaining in the United States, these activities are lawful - other activities are not. Some activities "Skirt the Law" or the law is not enforced upon them, and/or encouraged and supported by local and state governments that could be 'sanctuary' cities, counties, and/or states. All at the same time, these activities could also be illegal under federal law.
